Born the spawn of a traitor to his nation and the poor civilian maiden he managed to knock up. As quick as he was in her life, he was gone - and with him left any chance of a father figure for the then unborn child. His mother, a young woman from Amegakure though not wanting to have anything to do with the seed of the man who impregnated her. Was at least kind enough to bear him a name before handing him off to an orphanage to be cared for. Afterwards, much like the child's father - she left his life completely.
Setsuna was his name, like the sudden and drastic change that challenged his mother's life. Like the whirlwind of anger and viciousness that he was as a child. Lost, confused, but in no way weak. Within his heart was a spark of fire - a will to survive, to persevere. So he did, with every fist he threw, and with every shout he cried - he never stopped living.
This mischievous and rebellious child would soon gain the attention of his shinobi nation - his bones ability to mend when cracked or broken, and his insatiable bloodlust - with a bit of digging and some guesswork the village discovered that his father was of the Kaguya bloodline. And that Setsuna also inherited that gruesome yet powerful lineage. Such a boon was not to be wasted and he was quickly turned into a citizen of the village - incorporated into the shinobi academy as his abilities were natured and nurtured.
This child would bloom and grow into a strong and proud shinobi of Amegakure no Sato. Although it was a long and difficult path, he grew into an admirable young man - a bit rough around the edges and somewhat unpolished - but a wholly capable and steadfast individual who owed the village his life for all they gave him. Even reaching the rank of Chunin due to his valiant efforts and hard work coupled with a strong mind and willful spirit.
Setsuna is a young man born of misery and happenstance. His pretty face and soft tenure hide the wild-hearted bloodthirst that lies just beneath the surface. While he is capable of being kind and respectful to those he believes deserve it - he is still very much a person shaped by his environments - an orphan raised in an unforgiving world. He has developed the inability to truly open up to those around him.
Sure he can be friendly and welcoming towards people, but the mischievous and joking candor is but a ruse to hide the lonely, scared, and despairing soul underneath. Not only does he have his own personal doubts to contend with - but the deep-seated bloodlust he inherited from his sire haunts his every waking moment.
To put it simply, he, by nature is a battle hungry individual - someone who cherishes a good and violent fight. To test his limits and surpass them is his main goal in life. Don't think this means he is unreasonable, in fact, he is steadfast and loyal to his village - as it is closely intertwined with his hunger for a good challenge.
Though at times these needs of his conflict - 9 times out of 10 he will chose his village over his own personal wants. To add to his pile of issues, people tend to mistaken him for being a brain dead delinquent incapable of proper thought. A thug and a menace.
In truth Setsuna is above average in his intellect. As a child he devoured every book he could as learning became a big pastime for him growing up. This continued in his adulthood and thus he has developed a well-read and curious mindset.
Coupled with his street smarts and natural intelligence and you got a keen minded individual - who - while no philosopher, is more than capable of dealing a bout of wits with more learned individuals. He, in truth, has the best of both worlds: brawn and brain - both tenacious and ever evolving. An ever hungering wolf looking for it's next feast.

And as such manipulate and heal his bones in various often gruesome displays of combat. Though inherited by his father - a person who bears no love towards, Setsuna has never hated his abilities and instead cherishes the power given to him - as it gave him the strength to fight.

The main crux of the Kaguya Heritage, it allows Setsuna to manipulate his bones in unimaginable ways. Letting to use his own bones and body as a weapon. Unfortunately, due to his age and inexperience - his control over the ability isn't as great as it should be. But with time and effort it will surely blossom into a powerful asset on the battlefield.
Taijutsu [Apprentice]
While his Taijutsu is good for someone his age - he is still not as good as one would expect him to be. His punches and kicks are still slightly delayed and somewhat clumsy - and there's some obvious mistakes in his stance as well as too large of an opening in-between his movements. But like all things, with a bit of polish he'll do just fine.
Shurikenjutsu [Apprentice]
Setsuna's shurikenjutsu is his least practiced skill, but one that is passable. While he prefers hand to hand fighting - his skills with the shuriken aren't half bad for a beginner.
Stealth [Apprentice]
Setsuna's stealth has a lot to be desired. Though he can hide from your run of the mill genin and the like, he is completely hopeless against those of greater experience and rank. And it obviously shows when pit against them. Though not his strong suit - he is still capable of getting just above the basics done at least.
